Roland M. “Rollie” Schenk

Schenk1Schenk2HUDSON FALLS – Roland M. “Rollie” Schenk   89, of Burgoyne Ave., passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on January 14, 1924, in Queensbury, he was the son of the late Martin and Mildred (Hewitt) Schenk.

Rollie was a World War II Navy veteran.

For 30 years he was married to Mary Schenk. After her death in 1979, he married Sara “Sally” Chase in on March 3, 1980.

He worked for Scott Paper for 41 years, retiring in 1987.

Rollie was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars of Queensbury, Post 6196 of Queensbury, American legion Post 574 of Hudson Falls, The American Fiddler’s Association, The New Country Fan Club, and the Kingsbury Volunteer Hose Company Auxiliary and while in Florida, he was a member of the Moose Lodge #1041 of Crescent City Florida as well as Eagles Aerie 4355 of Crescent City, FL.

He enjoyed woodworking, card playing with his family and wintering in Florida.

In addition to his first wife and parents, he is predeceased by a son, Anthony J. Schenk, a daughter, Shirley McWhorter, a granddaughter Sara Chase Duffany, two brothers Robert F. Schenk and Max Schenk and a step-daughter, Bonnie Currie.

Survivors include his wife, Sara C. “Sally” Schenk of Hudson Falls; his son, Clifford E. Schenk of Queensbury; his daughter Francis Briere of Queensbury; his step-sons, Nelson W. Chase and his wife Darlene and James M. Chase and his wife, Lynn, all of Kingsbury; two sons-in-law, James Currie of Pomona Park, FL and John McWhorter of Argyle; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

Funeral Services will be private.

Burial will be in Pine View Cemetery, town of Queensbury.

Lillian E. DeFoe

DeFoeGANSEVOORT – Lillian E. DeFoe, 88, longtime resident of Gansevoort, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Indian River Nursing Home in Granville.

Born September 27, 1924, in Northumberland, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Martha (Reed) Robinson.

She enjoyed baking, needle point, quilting, making dolls, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Paul H. DeFoe,  her son, Robert DeFoe and a granddaughter April Diaz-Campbell.

Lillian is survived by her sons Michael DeFoe of South Glens Falls, and Dennis DeFoe of Florida; her daughters June DeFoe of Arizona, Darlene Drew and her husband Joseph of Gansevoort; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call from noon to 1pm on Wednesday,  at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street, Hudson Falls.

A prayer will be said at 1pm Wednesday.

Burial will follow at Bacon Hill Cemetery in Bacon Hill.

 

Norma A. Hill

HillHARTFORD – Norma A. Hill, 84, of Hartford, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013.

Born on January 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Minnie (Bennett) Colvin.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Charles Hill, two brothers and four sisters.

Norma is survived by a son and daughter; three sisters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Instead of calling hours, Norma’s family suggests that you find closure in remembering the love you expressed to her while she was living.

They also would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at The Orchard Nursing Home in Granville for the love and care they gave her and to the residents there who loved her too.

Marion L. Palmer

QUEENSBURY – Marion L. Palmer, 92, formerly of Ridge Road, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Health Care Facility in Argyle.

 Born on August 14, 1920 in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Raymun W. and Inez (Stoddart) Louer, Sr.

 Marion was a graduate of Amsterdam schools and on March 25, 1941, she married James “Jim” E. Palmer of Amsterdam.  In 1960, she and her husband moved to this area from Canajoharie.   He passed away on June 24, 2008, after 67 wonderful years of marriage.

 Marion was a member of The First Baptist Church of South Glens Falls, where she served as choir director for 25 years.  She taught Bible history for several years and was active in the Gideons International Auxiliary.

 Marion loved music and studied voice for many years. She sang with the Mohawk Valley Chorus in Amsterdam.  Marion was a charter member of the Mastersingers, now known as the Adirondack Voices. She also was a very talented pianist and organist.  Her other enjoyment included serving as librarian for the Queensbury Senior Center.  Her greatest love was her family, for which she had made 43 hand stitched quilts to keep them warm.

 Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her four brothers, Richard D. Louer, Raymun W. Louer, Jr., Milford H. Louer and Norbert Louer.

 Survivors include her children, Lauren Palmer and his wife, Susan of Hudson Falls and Suzette Usher, and her husband, Jack of Queensbury; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Scott Palmer and his wife, Rene and their children, Benjamin and Samuel of Glens Falls; Laurie Ecker, and her husband, Lee and their children, Lauren, Bradley and Nicole of Wilton; Matthew Palmer and his wife, Renee and their children Jack and Katie of Heuvelton; Stephanie Roberti and her companion, Rich Hayden of Port Ewen and her children, Hannah, Jeffrey and Jacob of Saugerties; Maureen Usher-Riggs and her husband, Garrett of Portland, Oregon and Brian Usher and his wife, Heather and their daughter, Emory of Queensbury; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

 Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at The First Baptist Church of South Glens Falls with Rev. Richard Dietrich, pastor  of The First Baptist Church and Rev. Michael Plank, pastor of The First Presbyterian Church of Hudson Falls, officiating.

 Burial will be in Seeley Cemetery in the Town of Queensbury at a later date.

Robert M. Witherell

witherellGLENS FALLS – Robert M. Witherell, 51, of East Boylston Street, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at his home.

Born on February 8, 1962, he was the son of Patricia St. Clair and the late Robert Witherell.

Robert was a 1981 graduate of South Glens Falls High School.

On September 24, 1988, he married Dawn Miner in South Glens Falls.

Robert worked for many years for Wheels, later known as Advance Auto in Hudson Falls.  He loved watching baseball and was a huge NY Yankee Fan.  He was a history buff and enjoyed trains.  Most of all he was a family man, who enjoyed spending time with his children and family.  For the past few years, he enjoyed many adventures cruising around town in his wheelchair.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Eleanor Gaulin and Raymond Gaulin and his sister, Laura Kapsa.

Robert is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dawn Witherell of Glens Falls; his children, Meagan Witherell of Glens Falls and Bobby Witherell of Glens Falls; his mother Patricia St. Clair and her husband, Philip of Florida; his brother and sisters, Mary Witherell-Jones of Greenwich, Melissa Leombruno of Gansevoort, Julie Lefebvre and her husband, Paul of Maine and Daniel Kapsa and his wife, Christine of Gansevoort; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles.

Friends may call from 10 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home, with the Reverend Thomas Babiuch, officiating.

Ralph “Rudy” A. St. Pierre

 Rudy.St.Pierre rudy st pierre 1.jpgGlens Falls – Ralph “Rudy” A. St.Pierre  passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, date at The Pines Nursing Home in Glens Falls.

Born May 21, 1917, in Hudson Falls, he was the son of the late Adelor and Alice St. Pierre of Glens Falls and Fort Edward.  He is also predeceased by twin sister Genevieve and sister Thelma Caputo.

Rudy was especially proud of being a multiple high school record holder, sectional-record holder and a four-time AAU Adirondack champion in Track and Field. His long jump record of 23 feet 3/4 inch set in 1934 still stands at Glens Falls High School. His outdoor mark of 24’1.875″ at Fordham University in 1939 also remains the existing record at that institution.

Rudy set GFHS records in the 100 yard dash, the 220 yard dash, the quarter mile, and the long jump. His 100yd dash mark remained the school record until the 1950’s when it was broken by Dick Edmunds another GFHS Track and Field legend. In 1939, with Rudy as leadoff man, the Fordham relay team established a world indoor record of 3 minutes, 15.2 seconds in the mile relay.

 For his numerous athletic achievements in Track and Field Rudy was inducted into the Glens Falls High School Athletic Hall of Fame and the Fordham University Athletic  Hall of Fame . His favorite mentors were his college coach, Ambrose Gilligan and high school coach Tommy Allen who was also one of the original inductees into the GFHS Athletic Hall of Fame.

A long-time area resident, Rudy was a fireman for the Glens Falls Fire Department. He subsequently held positions as a brewery supervisor in N.J. where he was also employed as a manufacturing  supervisor for the Fedders  Corporation.

While he was still at Fordham University, he married his high school sweetheart Pauline Linendoll  of Hudson Falls. He and his wife lived a long and happy life together until she passed away in 2001.

Survivors include his daughter Diane and husband Dr.Robert E Jenkins of Longmont CO, son Ralph and wife Theresa of Carmichael CA,  grandchildren Heather Jenkins Diedrick of Florence OR, Robert E Jenkins III  of St.Petersburg  FL, Marc St.Pierre of Roseville CA, Paul St.Pierre  of Vacaville CA,  Laura St.Pierre Franchini  of San Diego CA, as well as five great-grandchildren.

Rudy wished to thank his AHAH aides Kristen, Becky, Susan, Darcy & Anita, Public Health RN’s Shannon and Dorothy, and Dr. Filion’s office for their compassionate care. He was especially grateful to friends Joyce Duffy, David Vallee Jr, and Amy Flinton for their many kindnesses.  His family wishes to also express their heartfelt appreciation to Amy for all that she has done for Rudy over the past many years.

Edward L. Lowell, Sr

LowellHUDSON FALLS – Edward L. Lowell, Sr., 86, of Denis Ave, passed away at his home, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

 Born on October 6, 1926, in Mexico, Maine, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Sadie (Fitzmorris) Lowell.

 On September 15, 1945, he married Jane Rymkewicz at St. Mary’s Church in Glens Falls.

 Edward worked for a number of local dairies starting at the young age of fourteen. He often talked about delivering milk in Hudson Falls with a horse drawn wagon. He then worked for Hercules Inc., later known as Ciba-Geigy Corp. from 1959, until his Retirement in 1985.

 Edward loved his black Lab, Sparky. She was his faithful companion for over ten years. He was happiest when he was at his hunting camp in Stony Creek which he owned since 1959.  He enjoyed hunting with his sons and visiting with all the neighbors and passer byers. Edward said the mountains and forest at camp reminded him of Rumford Maine, where he spent his younger childhood years.

 In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brother, Henry Lowell, his sisters, Joanne Cross and Donna Kelleher and his son in law George J. Cooper, Jr.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jane Lowell of Hudson Falls; his children Jo-Ann Morton and her husband, Patrick of Hudson Falls, Phyllis Cooper of Hudson Falls, Edward L. Lowell, Jr. of Stony Creek and his companion, Jill Field, Daniel J. Lowell and his wife, Sharon Harris of Queensbury; his grandchildren, Patrick H. Morton, III and his wife, Nicki, Lisa A. Morton, Michael J. Morton and his wife, Sheila, Melissa A. Cooper, Edward L. Lowell, III., Linda Lowell, Daniel J. Lowell, II and Nathaniel Lowell; his great-grandchildren, Zachary Morton, Josh Morton, Dylan Morton, Jesse Morton and Cooper Henke; his siblings, Elaine Uhl and Bernard Lowell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles J. Hernandez Sr.

HernandezGlens Falls – Charles J. Hernandez Sr., of Glens Falls, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Glens Falls Hospital, with his wife of 67 years, Margie, by his side and surrounded by the family that he loved more than anything.

Charles was the son of the late Carmelo and Rose (Torres) Hernandez, born on February 26, 1929.

He and Margie (Diaz) were both from Manhattan.  In 1946, they married and soon after they moved upstate to raise their family.

Charles retired from Great Meadow Correctional Facility after twenty years as a roofer and tinsmith.  Prior to that he had worked at DeLong’s Dairy, formerly in Glens Falls.  He was also a well known master roofer, repairing and replacing many slate and shingle roofs in the Glens Falls area.  He learned his craft from his mentor, Frances “Uncle Hap” Prunier.  Charles in turn, passed his knowledge and incredible work ethic on to his children, children in law and his grandchildren He also shared his love of the North Country and hunting and fishing.  He and Margie enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks for many years.

He and Margie loved music, especially country and western, Latin music and guitar music.  They were great dancers and more than kept up with the younger generation on the dance floor, well into their seventies.

Charles was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Glens Falls.  He served as the custodian there for several years after his retirement. An inveterate tinkerer, he could fix anything as long as he had duct tape and a tube of silicone.

Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by two sisters; Mary Hernandez and Helen Lorello, and a brother Frank Hernandez.

Survivors include his wife Margie; his children, Margo (Roger) Guglielmo,  Joyce (James) Flower, Charlene (Gary) Endal ,  Charles “Sonny” (Beth) Hernandez, Jr. , Frank (Amneris) Hernandez,  Mary (James) O’Marra, Elizabeth Hernandez (Ken Thompson), Linda Leah (JayLee) Thompson; Joseph (Vicky) Hernandez; a close nephew, Frank “Poncho” Coleman;  a sister, Anita (Frank) Coleman  a brother,  Ralph (Philomena)Hernandez.

More than anything else, Charles treasured and doted on children and was enormously proud of His family.  He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. His family is located around New England to Florida to California to Alberta Canada and uncountable points in between.  Each of us received his love and pride equally and he left a wonderful legacy for us all.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 543 Glen Street in Glens Falls.

Interment will take place at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in the town of Queensbury.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the ICU Unit and tower 5, at the Glens Falls Hospital for all their care and compassion.

Leon E. “Grandpa Cookie” Jackson

LJacksonGLENS FALLS – Leon Edward “Grandpa Cookie” Jackson, 83, of Glens Falls, passed away after a long illness  on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Pines Healthcare Facility in Glens Falls, with his niece Shannon and his caregiver Krissy by his side.

Born on May 16, 1930, in Shoreham, VT, he was the son of the late Edward and Ruth (Johnson) Jackson.

On October 12, 1962, he married Blanche Sawtell.  She passed away on September 18, 2011.

At the age of 13, Leon began working on farms in the Vermont area.  When he became of age he then worked at some of the marble quarries in Vermont.   Upon moving to this area he worked for Pallets Inc. in Fort Edward and then served as district manager for Oneida Building Services in Glens Falls.  Upon retiring, Leon operated the oldest elevator in Glens Falls, located in the Colvin building.  He also cleaned for JC Penney and delivered papers for the Post tar for 8years, mainly in the Hudson Falls area.

Leon loved baseball, enjoyed square dancing and watching John Wayne movies with his beloved wife Blanche.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, James Jackson and Daniel Jackson and a sister, Mary,

He is survived by his step-daughter, Deb Story and her husband, Thomas of Kingsbury; his “adopted granddaughter” who was his caregiver and took him on trips and rides, Krissy Fisher and her husband, Richard and their children, Emma and Jayce of Hudson Falls; a brother, David Jackson of Saratoga; a cousin, Gert Jackson of Middlebury, VT his grandchildren, Dawn Chadwick, Christopher Kingsley and Jeremy P. Kingsley; several great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

Services will follow the calling hours at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Joan F. Underwood

HUDSON FALLS – Joan (Billetdoux) Underwood, 79, of Hudson Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Glens Falls Hospital, after a short illness.

Born on July 6, 1933, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Danz) Billetdoux.

She was a 1951 graduate of Hudson Falls High School.

On August 9, 1953, she married Ernest H. Underwood at St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls.

She was a communicant of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Hudson Falls.

Joan enjoyed traveling, gardening, ceramics and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, George Billettdoux.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Ernest H. Underwood of Hudson Falls; her daughters, Bonny Smith and her husband, David of Hartford, Terri Ireland and her husband, Robert of Woodbridge, VA, Carol Merritt and her husband, William of Glen Lake and Mary Ellen Lovely and her husband, Wallace of Honolulu, Hawaii; a son, Thomas R. Underwood and his companion, Brenda Laporte of Hudson Falls; a sister, Patricia Rayos  of Blackstone, MA; her grandchildren Edward Clear, Daniel Clear, Jillian Smith, Erin Welch, Kara Ireland, Brett Ireland, Bryan Ireland, Sean Underwood, Sarah Lovely and Joshua Lovely; her great grandchildren, Nathan Clear, Dylan Clear, Thomas Welch, Rebecca Welch;  and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

John F. Burke, Jr.

HUDSON FALLS – John F. Burke, Jr., 67, formerly of Russell Street, passed away, after fighting cancer, on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Saratoga Hospital. 

Born on July 4, 1945 in Lincoln Nebraska, he was the son of the late John and Marion (Ford) Burke, Sr.

John graduated from Hudson Falls High School and continued his education and SUNY Brockport.

After receiving his degree, John taught elementary school in the Rochester area.

He was a communicant of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls.

John loved to learn and was an avid reader of books and newspapers.  He also was a New York sport fan, who loved following the New York Yankees and the Giants.

Survivors include his brother, Daniel Burke and his wife, Cindy of Queensbury; his sister, Martha Sawtelle of Greenwich; six nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A private graveside service for the family will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Glens Falls.

James Wray Kearns

KearnsFORT EDWARD – James Wray Kearns, 98, of Bradley Ave., went into the arms of the Lord and his beloved Genevieve, on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Glens Falls Hospital. 

Born on March 29, 1915, in Syracuse, he was the son of the late John and Leona (Wray) Kearns.

 Jim was a 1934 graduate of Central High School and a star forward on the Centinary Methodist Church basketball team, both in Syracuse.  After high school, Jim attended Lincoln Welding School, graduating in 1935.  He then worked for Allied Chemical and Dye (Solvay) in their apprentice training program and also completed the Foreman Ship Training Program. 

In 1940, he became a welding instructor for the National Youth Administration and eventually became a Regional Supervisor, covering all of New York State and the New England States.   Jim was a decorated Veteran, enlisting in the US Navy, where he taught welding and was a US Navy Shipfitter First Class. He was stationed in the European Theater during WWII and in 1946, received an Honorable Discharge.

Jim married the love of his life, Genevieve (Passineau) DuPell, on August 4, 1949, embarking on a forty-five year journey of love and devotion with his Gen.

He was a sixty-seven year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #773, working for many companies throughout the United States and the world, including Turkey, Greenland, Mexico and South America.  He was also self-employed for many years.

Jim was a lifelong learner, earning degrees from California Poly Institute, ICS Correspondence School in Pennsylvania, Lincoln Welding School, General Electric Welding School, Oswego Extension Center in Albany, State University College at Oswego, Adirondack Community College and Purdue University. 

Jim obtained his NYS Public School teaching certification in metal trades (welding and fabrication) and his adult education teaching certification.  He went to work for the Warren Washington BOCES in 1966 where he combined his love of teaching and his desire to help both youths and adults.  He taught welding, retiring in 1976.  Jim was very proud of his efforts to organize the Teachers into the Adirondack Cooperative Teacher’s Association and was their first President and Chief Negotiator.  He returned to BOCES in his later years, working as a substitute until his 90th birthday.

Jim was very active in retirement, playing golf, hunting, fishing and always lending a helping hand to his large family and many friends.  He loved to travel and especially enjoyed his last trip, a mountain climbing excursion to Colorado.  Jim loved taking camping trips with his beloved wife.  He was also an avid NY Yankee Fan.  Jim  will always be remembered for his humor, quick wit, Irish charm and mostly true tales.   

In addition to his parents and his late wife, Genevieve, Jim was predeceased by his brothers, John and Edward Kearns and his sisters, Delores Spring, Thelma Redmond and Geraldine Dewitt; his stepsons, G. Patrick DuPell and Eugene L. DuPell; his grandsons, James P. DuPell  and Mark L. DuPell; and one great grandson, James P. Hinchliffe.

 

He is survived by one sister, Ruth VanDorpe of Lakeland FL; one son, James (Linda) Walton Kearns of Apopka FL;

one daughter in law, Theresa DuPell; nephews , Raymond and Alan Dewitt, James Spring, Robert Van Dorpe;

Friends may call on Friday, May 3, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls, officiating.

The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.

Following the cemetery services, all are welcome to a gathering at McManus Hall, located adjacent to St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at Plumeria Adult Home and the nurses and staff at the Glens Falls Hospital, for being so kind and caring to  Jim and his family.

Joseph Watson

WatsonADAMSVILLE – Joseph Watson, 59, of County Route 43, passed away unexpectedly, at the Glens Falls Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Born on September 9, 1953, in Whitehall, he was the son of Walter Watson and the late Ruth (White) Watson.

Joseph grew up in South Glens Falls and graduated from South Glens Falls High School, in 1971.  Right out of high school, he pursued his  love of aviation and earned his single engine pilot’s license.

On October 11, 1980, he married Wendy Springer at the Immaculate Conception Church in Corinth.  After his marriage, Joseph and Wendy moved to their current home in Adamsville, where they raised their three children. 

Joseph was employed in the auto body profession his whole life.   Most recently he worked for his good friend David Ure at  Collision Plus.   He was an avid sports fan, but football was his passion, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys.  Joseph also enjoyed watching the NY Yankee’s play.  He loved traveling to Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Key West and visiting family in Maine.  His favorite saying for his wife was, “You plan it, I’ll do it”.  Most of all, his family was the center of his life, he lived to be with them and to make them happy.    Joseph was a wonderful husband, an awesome father and will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his sister, Beverly Chamblee.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Wendy Watson of Adamsville; his three children, Samantha Watson, Michael Watson and Matthew Watson, all of Adamsville; his father, Walter Watson of Queensbury; his siblings, Rosann Curran and her husband, John of Queensbury, John Watson and his wife, Sandy of Glens Falls, Walter Watson and his wife, Pat of Bangor Maine, Barbara Reynolds of Queensbury; Sandra LaBerge of Florida, Patricia Gilligan of Vermont and Deannie White of Sudbury, Vermont; his goddaughter and niece, Jamie Chan of Honolulu, Hawaii; his nephews, Joseph, Steve  and Jeff Watson of Bangor, Maine; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Services will be private for the family.
