Richard “Ricky” Kelley

Kelley, richard

WHITEHALL – Richard “Ricky” Kelley, 39, of Whitehall, passed away, unexpectedly, on June 29, 2013.

Born on April 16, 1974, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Howard and Karen (LaCarte) Kelley.

Ricky was a 1993 graduate of Whitehall High School and on February 15, 2010, he married Debra “Debbie” Card.

Ricky worked for Whitehall Plywood and most recently at Champlain Beef, also in Whitehall.

He loved to fish with his children, Trenton and Brennan.   His passion was to  golf with anyone that would go with him, especially with his dad, wife, sons, Trenton and Brennan and his brothers.   Ricky was a huge Jets and Yankee Fan.   He had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone.  The center of his life was his family.  Ricky loved his wife and his children deeply.  He was known as “Uncle Ricky” to many of the children, who loved to be near his fun loving spirit.  Ricky was also a wonderful cook.  He could make the most delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Ricky’s favorite saying was “Later” … never say goodbye because it is forever.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Marvin and Caroline LaCarte.

Survivors include his wife, Debra “Debbie” Kelley of Whitehall; his children, Trenton Card, Anthony Kelley, Matthew Ricketts; his step son, Brennan Card; his parents, Howard and Karen Kelley of Hudson Falls;  his grandparents, Clarence and Lois Kelly of Hudson Falls; his brother Jeremy Kelley of Lake Luzerne and Howard Kelley, Jr. of Lake Luzerne; his sister, Angela Kelley of Syracuse; his uncles, Joseph LaCarte, Michael LaCarte and Darrin Kelley; his aunts, Marva Foster, Annette Burns and Kathy Sweet; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
