Daniel A. Brouillette

MOREAU – Daniel A. Brouillette, 71 of Moreau, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany after a long illness.

Born on May 24, 1952 in Glens Falls, he was a life long area resident and son of the late Armand and Lorraine (Dubee) Brouillette. Daniel grew up in Glens Falls and attended Glens Falls Schools. On June 30, 1969, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, serving his country from 1970 to 1971 in Vietnam before being honorably discharged.

On November 20, 1971, he married the love of his life, Debra J. Lewis at St. Alphonsus Church in Glens Falls. Daniel worked as a roll finisher at Finch Pruyn, Co until his retirement after 30 years of dedicated service to the company.

Daniel and Deb enjoyed traveling together to places such as California, Alaska, and Ireland. He enjoyed movies and followed Star Trek, as well as listening to music, especially The Beach Boys. Daniel loved his Pugs, Cooper and Chloe, who have passed away and was always with his Shizu, Oreo, who was his best buddy. Most of all, Daniel enjoyed being with family.  

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Donna Beames.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Debra Brouillette; his children, Daniel S. Brouillette (Tina), Benjamin A. Brouillette (Tanya), and Randy A. Brouillette; his grandchildren, Sabrina, Jacob, Benjamin, Allison, Tammie, and Andromeda; his brother, James Brouillette; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville. There are no public calling hours.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors on Unit 4A at the Stratton VA Hospital in Albany for their care and support throughout this difficult time.
