Skylar C. Wilson

Wilson, SkylarHUDSON FALLS and ARGYLE – Skylar C. Wilson, 15, went into the arms of the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Born on January 13, 2003, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Nicholas Wilson, Jolleen Wilson and Richard McAda.

Skylar was a 9th grader in Hudson Falls School.  She worked hard and put her all into everything she did.  Skylar was on the honor roll, AP classes, a member of the Student Council, Girls Science Club, she sang in the choir and for the past three years running, she had perfect attendance.

Faith in God and her family were the center of her life.  She read her bible every day and was an altar server at St. Joseph’s Church.  Skylar had a natural love for life and animals.  She had aspired to be a veterinarian.  Skylar lived her life showing the love of God through her.  She was loved by everyone and hated by none, she lived her faith.

Skylar was a sweet, shy, innocent girl, who was a perfect angel on earth, who now has her wings in heaven.  She was best friends with her brothers and sister.  Skylar had love and patience with little children and loved babysitting.  She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, who left this earth to be with God on January 28th.

She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Edwin Tusha and Michael LaPointe, her aunt, Darcy Miner and her uncle, Jared Wilson.

She was beloved daughter of Nicholas Wilson of Argyle, Jolleen Wilson and Richard McAda of Hudson Falls; best friend and sister to, Jacob Wilson, Mackenzie Wilson and Bryant Tusha; she was a blessing to her grandparents, James and Lucia Wilson of Argyle, Susan LaPointe of Saratoga Springs and Alfreda Tusha of Lubbock, Texas; her nephew, Jacob D. Wilson; her aunts and uncles, Robin Holcomb and her companion, Steve Desourdy, Lisa and Ricky Sears, Penny and Francis Marshall, Scott and Theresa Wilson, Chris Tucker, Michael LaPointe, Michelle LaPointe, Bruce McAda, David Blakley and Cindy Rusk; her great aunt, Patricia Gram; and many many cousins.

Friends may call on Friday, February 2, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Skylar’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Joseph’s Church on Broadway in Fort Edward.

A celebration of Skylar’s life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Kingsbury Fire Hall on Burgoyne Ave in the town of Kingsbury.
