Alice M. Kinderman

HUDSON FALLS – Alice M. Kinderman, 87, of School Street,  passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at home after a long illness.

Born on August 17, 1927, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Warren) Brown.

In 1944, she graduated from Hudson Falls High School.

On September 7, 1947, she married Alexander Kinderman at St. Mary’s Church in Hudson Falls. He passed away on December 15, 2003.

From 1964 to her retirement in 1990, Alice was a secretary at Adirondack Community College in Queensbury.

She was a communicant of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church.

Her greatest joy was the time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brothers, Paul Brown and Robert Brown and her sister, Florence Purdy.

Survivors include her three children, Susan M. Kinderman of Hudson Falls, Alan Kinderman and his wife Janet of Hudson Falls and Mark Kinderman and  his wife Deborah of Whitesboro; her grandchildren, Jason Kinderman and his fiancé, Brooke, Brandon Kinderman and his wife Annie, Andrea Kinderman and her husband, Mike Galeno, Andrew Kinderman and his wife Allison, Travis Kinderman and Reed Kinderman and his wife, Savanah and a great grandson Alexander Kinderman.

All services will be private.

Alice’s family suggests that memorial donations be made to The Diabetes Association, 50 Colvin Ave., Albany, NY 12205,  The Glens Falls Association for the Hearing Impaired, 71 Glenwood Ave., Queensbury, NY, 12804 or the animal related charity of your choice.

Alice’s family would like to thank Nancy Bradley for her wonderful loving care of their mother over the past two years.  Nancy is considered one of the family.
