Margaret Hunter

HunterGLENS FALLS – Margaret Fischer Hunter, 77, of Glens Falls, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on September 12, 1935, in Wigan, England, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice Walsh.

Her husband, Joseph Fischer, passed away in November of 1993.

Margaret worked for CWI in Queensbury for many years.

She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and enjoyed shopping and traveling.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a step-son, Stephen Fischer, a granddaughter, Janelle Fischer and two brothers, Thomas Hunter and Jack Hunter.

Her survivors include one daughter, Elaine Campbell and her husband, Robert of Glens Falls; her granddaughters, Amelia Campbell, Delilah Campbell, Jadeyn Campbell, Cheyenne Campbell, KaSandra Kamburelis and her husband, Kristofer and Stephanie Fischer and her fiancé, Jay Rescott; her great-grandchildren, Lucas and Riley; two sisters, Jean Jones of England and May Atherton and her husband, Arthur of England; her daughter in law, Kay Fischer of Glens Falls;  and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
