Dale R. Oudekerk

oudekirkHUDSON FALLS – , 54, of Oak Street, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

Born July 16, 1959 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Gloria Oudekerk and the late Ronald B. Oudekerk.

On January 5, 1989, he married Denise Phillips in Hudson Falls.

Dale worked for the city of Glens Falls Water Department when he was younger. He then worked for different construction companies in the area, such as, Catalfamo Construction, Mark Middleton Construction and Thompsons Carpentry in Rupert, VT. Dale enjoyed fishing in the Adirondacks, camping with his sons, Coty and Michael, go-carts, motorcycles and dirt bikes. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He had a wonderful sense of humor, no matter how sick he became. Dale especially loved his family and his dog, Banjo. He will be greatly missed by everyone he met.

Survivors include his mother, Gloria Oudekerk; his wife, Denise Oudekerk; his two sons, Coty Stockwell and his fiancé, Megan Northup, Michael Oudekerk and his fiancé, Katlyn Ringer; his grandchildren, Tyler James Stockwell, Lucas Ryan Stockwell and Dominic Michael Oudekerk; his siblings, Phyllis Oudekerk and her son, Gerald, Linda Barton and her children, Katy and Joseph, Mary Oudekerk and her son, Nicholas, Allen Oudekerk, Ronald Oudekerk and his children, Katie and Kiesha; as well as several cousins.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral Services will follow the calling hours, 4 p.m., at the funeral home, with Reverend Frank Lockwood, officiating.

Burial will be at a future date at Union Cemetery in Fort Edward.

The family wishes to thank Larry Baldwin for all the care, kindness, loyalty and dedication given to Dale during his illness.
