Shari-Ann Carpenter

carpenter-shari-annSOUTH GLENS FALLS _ Shari-Ann Carpenter, 48, passed away on Thursday December 8, 2016 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents Thomas and Sharron (Catalfamo) Carpenter and her beloved brother Todd A. Carpenter.

Shari-Ann graduated from South Glens Falls High School in 1987, which is where she spent most of her time even after graduation watching many wrestling, football, basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball games. Shari-Ann cheered and could always be heard screaming encouragement to her  sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.  Shari-Ann made sure to have their sports schedules so she could attend all of their spring events, as she was their number one fan.   She was employed by Angio Dynamics, formally known as Namic, Boston Scientific and Pfizer for 28 years.

Shari-Ann enjoyed life and living it to the fullest.  She looked forward to the family’s annual golf tournament in honor of her late brother Todd A. Carpenter, the TC Open.  She always had an infectious smile and brought many amazing memories to all around her.  She enjoyed concerts of all kinds, vacations, eating out with friends, and baking.  Shari-Ann had a very giving heart.  Her family and friends pay tribute to Shari by saying “Shari-Ann was one of the kindest people you could have ever met, she opened her heart to so many over the years and she will be sorely missed.”

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her brothers and sisters, Toni-Ann Geer and her husband Thomas; Thomas A. Carpenter and his wife Larraina; Scott J. Carpenter and his wife Julianne; Marc T. Carpenter and his wife Sherry; Traci-Ann DeRidder and her husband Lou; Teri-Ann DelSignore and her husband Greg; Jodi-Ann Brewer and her husband Brent; and Eric J. Carpenter and his wife Angela.  Shari’s nieces and nephews, Randi White and her husband Alpha; Darci Brewer and her husband Ben; Jenni Ryan and her husband Sean; Bo Smith; Scott, Daniel, Claire, and Jake Carpenter; Louie and Megan DeRidder; Brock and Brooke DelSignore; and Mia and Grace Brewer, which for most she was “Crazy Aunt Shari” to.  Aunt Sally and Uncle Bill Brayman; Aunt Annie Catalfamo, Great Uncle John Catalfamo, as well as several cousins, and very close friends.

Shari-Ann’s family  would like to express their special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and all hospital staff that cared for her.

Friends and family may call onThursday December 15, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

The family has requested a private burial.
