Mulcahy Mulcahy2QUEENSBURY – Robert E. Mulcahy of Queensbury, passed away, Monday, March 28, 2016, at his home unexpectedly.

Robert was born on September 21, 1931, in Glens Falls.  He was born to the late Anna J. Curtin and John J. Mulcahy.

He married Marjorie Rose Cooper on July 5, 1952.  They lived in Queensbury most of their married life.

Robert owned and operated Mulcahy’s Auto Body Shop for over 50 years in Queensbury.

Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his siblings, John Mulcahy, Richard Mulcahy, David Mulcahy, Mary Crissey and Judy Carlson.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Mulcahy; his three children, Sally Barker and her companion, Richard Berg of Queensbury, George Mulcahy of Queensbury and Douglas Mulcahy and his companion, Linda Rolleston of Queensbury; his sister, Patricia McAndrews of MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Monday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Carleton Funeral, Inc., 68 Main Street, in Hudson Falls.

At the request of the family, there will be no formal funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the charity of your choice.

    Sorry for your loss, Sally, George, Doug, and Mrs Mulcahy. I enjoyed talking with him a few times 5- 10 years ago. He always seemed to have a business to talk about and of course I remember him at the body shop years ago. Prayers are with you and him. John Reid
