BALLSTON LAKE – Ricardo (Richie) Acosta, 63, was born on April 22, 1959, in New York, New York to Herman Acosta and the late Isabel Galindez. The Lord called him home on October 18, 2022.
Ricardo worked for Janitronics, an agency that placed him at GlobalFoundries in Ballston Spa, where he met and made many friends.
He loved to travel around the world to places like the Dominic Republic, Puerto Rico, visiting his family while there and traveled to some of the Caribbean Island, enjoying the sun everywhere he went. Ricardo enjoyed his time in any body of water, swimming in pools, oceans and lakes. He was an avid fan of football and baseball.
No services will be planned.
He leaves behind his aunt, Margarita Muniz of Puerto Rico, along with a host of family and friends, and his beloved dog, Marlow Brando.
Memorial donations in memory of Ricardo may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
