I am so sorry to learn of Pam’s passing. I was one of her editors at The Post-Star and later at the Hill Country Observer. She was a terrific writer with a great sense of humor and a journalist’s ability to cut through puffery and pretense to get to the essential story. I had not heard from her in more than 10 years, but I will always remember her for her clear, insightful writing and the way she sometimes could reveal the comedy just below the surface in everyday situations. My sympathy and best wishes to her friends and family.
