FORT EDWARD – Michael “Mike” Manning, 76, of Fort Edward passed away suddenly, July 27, 2022, at Albany Medical Center, after suffering a massive stroke.
Per Mikes request, there will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will take place Friday, October 7, 2022, 2:30 P.M., at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, with full military honors.
A full obituary will appear in a later edition of the Post Star.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Mike. We have known him for years and he has shown us great respect and love for his family. It will be a big void in all of the family. May you rest in peace.

Mike was my brother my friend I love him with all my Heart .There had been an ocean of tears for you my brother .You are a man I can only pray to meet again.Mike Manning was the real deal .

Denise, I’m so sorry for your loss. Mike is a great guy. I remember his visit when we lived in Key West, right after my son, and your twins were born. My condolences to your family. Eileen Sweet and family.

Very sorry for your loss,denise.i hadnt seen mike in years but i will never forget him.he was a very kind man and i enjoyed working with him and learning from him.he was very skilled and patient.
Mike was one of my best friends growing up on John St. in H.F. We spent hours playing under the shade of that big butternut tree in his back yard. If you need a guaranteed live bugler for his TAPS let Carleton Funeral Parlor know and I would be honored to do it for him as I did for his brother Tom.
