I was so very sad to hear of the passing of my former classmate and friend, Maureen. She was always such a sweet and loving person. She was kind and just wonderful to be around. She will definitely be missed by so very many! Many of our classmates have sent their condolences when I sent out her obituary. Our prayers are with her and with her entire family at this sad time.

Dear Karen, I was in Boston on Sunday so I couldn’t attend Your Mom’s wake. Your mom and dad were such a wonderful couple and it seems fitting that God wanted them together though I’m sure you and your grandchildren are hurting so missing them both. Gayle and I were about five years older than your dad and I remember when we visited him when he contracted polio. Summers we and he and your Aunt Jackie would play together down on Lower Allen Street when we were in elementary grades. Then when you were he star of our volleyball team and our Beth got to play with you guys we had special memories of our overnight travel games.with the Catalfamos and coach Shaffer. The picture of your mom was beautiful, even happy, a fitting lasting image of how she lived her life.
