To the Harrington Children — Pat, Bob, Betsy and Dick

My sincere condolences on the loss of Madge. She was a wonderful woman. She made Ashley very happy and took great care and pride in all of you. Even though I haven’t seen you or Madge in many, many years, I remember her bringing homemade cookies and cakes to the Paris grandparents’ home when we all visited (and sharing her recipes) and her being able to hold her own against Edith. My sympathies to you all.
