Joe will be missed greatly as a loving friend in our family. He was a dear and faithful companion friend to my daughter, Holleen. He was a genuine, caring person. Checking the house roof every fall was just one of the many commitments he willingly did for our household. He worked too hard but enjoyed being a carpenter/builder. The flourishing abundant grape vine he planted is just one legacy that will remain in his memory on 814 Dean Road. I know he is happy and busy in Heaven. πŸ™πŸ’—

Joe you will be missed by all your friends you grew up with. You were my best friend growing up, Unfortunetly we all grew apart some moved away, had our families, children now grandchildren and you can’t get all that missed time back. I wish the best for your mom and dad, your sisters and brother, your girls and grand kids. One day I’ll see ya again in the sandpit hunting bull frogs. God bless. You will be missed.

    Dear Joe and Barb,

So sad to hear about your son’s passing. It has been a long time since I’ve seen you Joe. I hope you remember the times we played tennis together.

I hope time will heal what must be a very large hole in your hearts right now.

    God Bless both of you

Not all heroes wear capes. Joe helped me out more times than I could possibly recount. Showing up at 11pm after working all day and staying until 2am to fix my heat – KNOWING he had an hour drive home and had to get up again for work at 5:30am. The quality of his work and his ability to ‘McGuyver’ ANYTHING will never be matched. I truly will miss him forever. His sense of humor and good nature are right up there with his skill and work ethic.

Dad you were always my idol and my hero I have always wanted to be just like you since I can remember just as a little girl. You made me feel safe, you gave me a home, you showed me strength and love. You always showed me how to become a honest hard working person and reassured in my independence. You sacrificed for us, you put us girls before anything and anyone else. You never gave up or took the easy way. I am who I am and I am who I became only because of you. A dad who never stopped being the dad I needed him to be. A dad who taught me valuable lessons no matter how tough it was for you and me. A dad who loved his children more than himself or life itself to make the sacrifices you did I will forever thank god every day for blessing me with the greatest dad, parent, role model, teacher, and person to ever exist and guide me through my childhood and young life without any other purpose other than raising a decent human and adult
