Helen M. Sitterly

QUEENSBURY – Helen M. Sitterly past suddenly May 4, 2020, at the Cedars apartments in Queensbury New York.

She graduated from Lake George High School in 1963.  She worked for Continental insurance co. until 1983.

Helen and husband started an upholstery business from their home from 1973 to 1989.  They relocated to Ocala Fl. In 1989 where Helen continued working for several upholstery and other businesses including Parkers Upholstery.  She loved doing crafts and sewing which she sold at craft fairs and flea markets.  She loved animals, garage sales, flea markets, bowling, and crafts.  She moved back to New York in December 2019 to be closer to her son and immediate family.

 Helen is predeceased by her husband Don T Sitterly, father Howard LaPlanche, mother Mary (Hammond) LaPlanche, sisters Mary (LaPlanche) Baker, Elizabeth LaPlanche, Beatrice LaPlanche, brother William LaPlanche.

Left to cherish her memory, her son Donald H. Sitterly, his wife Theresa and grandchildren Lisa Baurle and Jacob Baurle, along with several cousins.

There are no services planed.
