FORT ANN – Grace T. “Tink” Vaughan, 70 of Fort Ann, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home.
Born on August 30, 1953 in Shoreham, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Cassius and Marion Goldia (Fuller) Gosselin.
Grace grew up and was educated in Shoreham and attended classes at Adirondack Community College. On September 10, 1971 she married Timothy Vaughan and they have enjoyed almost 53 years of marriage. Grace was a manager at several Cumberland Farms stores and also worked for Decora in Fort Edward and most recently, Angio Dynamics in Queensbury.
She enjoyed reading and watching westerns and loved to spend time in her vegetable and flower gardens. Grace also liked fishing and went many times with her husband on Lake Champlain.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Harold Gosselin.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Vaughan of Fort Ann; her daughter, Loretta Amato and her husband, Giulio of Fort Ann; her grandchildren, Mia and Alexander Amato; twelve brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 29. 2024 at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
