To the only dad i ever had, a man of great strength and leadership. A man of enormous knowledge of everything, though would never boast. Great love and devotion to all of his children and my mother. I always felt honored to stand behind him in his huge shadow of intergrity, honestly, and character. Though only average in physical size, he was a giant of a man. A true gentleman. He taught me everthing, from growing into a man, to whats right and wrong about being a human being. I will miss all of our projects together, i will never be able to pickup a paint brush or hammer again without thinking of you. If anyone deserves to have a place in Heaven its certainly you, your probally showing the carpenter how to be a better carpenter right now. I will love you and miss you always, God Speed Pop, I hope to see you there, i’ll bring your favorite brush and help ya, Love, Teddy.

Pop, we never spoke of how we felt, we never hugged, but I knew you loved me and I hope you knew how much I loved you. I deeply regret never telling you how much you meant to me. I am who I am because of you. Your love, kindness, and generosity showed me what I wanted to be as a man. I take comfort knowing that you are no longer in pain. I know you are up there looking over us. I miss you. I love you.

To my buddy George. “You ARE the man”! You never ceased to amaze me on your undying efforts and countless hours spent at Sany Hill Corp. , Valmet. Your dedication, knowledge, personality, integrity to your work will never be surpassed. I am trying to follow in your footsteps but I will never be able to “fill” your shoes. I could always count on you for advice, but much, much more… your friendship. You are in my heart forever. I will miss you terribly. We have all… lost a “great man”.

      Jake,
I just want you to know how very much you meant to my dad. He always referred to you as “A good boy” which is the highest compliment in the book of George-isms. Thank you for your friendship and for taking the time to make him part of your life. He talked about you all the time, and I know he truly thought of you as family. I look forward to seeing you in May when we are up for the week. We can share some stories and laugh a little along the way, that’s how Dad would want it.
Lori-the first born and his favorite. (I say this in jest, not!)

Truly sorry for your loss. Wish you all well in your time of sorrow and remembrance. The times you spent are as cherished memories. My hat is off to your father for his life of guidance to you all and his service as a soldier. With honor and respect.

With thoughts of peace and courage to you,
    Jeff

George knew me as Digger. That was my nick name at Sandy Hill Corporation as a summer employee over 40 years ago. George was a kind, hard working and fun loving person to be with. He made a snot nosed young college kid feel special in his first big job. Even after all these years, George would greet me as though we were still both inside the walls of the greatest company a person could work for. I am sorry not to have been able to see you Shirley and the children at his services.
    Gary

    Daddy,
My love for you continues to grow even though your soul has gone to the other side. You would have been proud of us kids, we came together as you had wanted us too, to send you on your way. I will miss you everyday and cherish the memories we have. The last 15 months have been the most wonderful months I have ever had. I’m glad you are at peace and resting your weary soul. No one deserves that more than you.
And as you would always tell us as we were walking out the door, no matter what season…..”Don’t slip on the ice”. So Dad, my last words to you, I love you with all I have and will remember you always.

    Lisa
