    Dear Connie and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your brother/uncle, Pat. Even though his name is Edward, I only knew him as “Pat”. What a lovely obituary you wrote in his tribute. In reading it, I have discovered we have something in common, a love of the outdoors, and biking. Even though I did not know him well, it is nice to know that we shared a common interest. I also know he was very good to you Connie, and to your family, it is nice to know he got to leave this earth from a place where he knew he was loved, and was not alone. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time for you. And the next time I go out for a bike ride, I will think of Pat, and hope he is in a better place.
    Love,
    Katherine
