Dale A. McCrea

GLENS FALLS – Dale McCrea, 77, of Glens Falls passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at the Glens Falls Hospital.

She was born on May 19, 1939 in Glens Falls.

Dale served a s bartender at many area locations and then worked in the Maintenance Department of the Glens Falls hospital.

She enjoyed writing, arts and crafts and especially ceramics and working with driftwood. She also Loved to Laugh.

She is survived by her son, Robert Lance and his wife, Mary Lou, of Amsterdam; her grandson Brian Lance and his two children, Katie and Sara Lance; two sisters, Amy Woodard of Queensbury and Celeste Bryton of Maine; nieces Renee and Stephanie Woodard (Amy) and Kim Fontaine (Celeste), great nephews, nieces, cousins and Aunt Betty Rollo

There are no services planned.

Arrangements are under the direct of the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

    she was my older cousin. I always knew her as a fighter. I will miss her. I grieve for what this will mean to her sister, diane.

    I am her aunt from glens falls. it is very sad. she had a hard life. I tried to help as much as I could. we will miss her.
