Bud was certainly a one of a kind man. A man with a great sense of humor. A man with one of the kindest, caring hearts. He would give you the shirt off his back. Men like Bud are very rare in today’s World. And one of the BEST Dad’s there ever was. Ever. It was an honor for me to get to know him and Amber. Amazing people. This is such a loss. Hard to wrap your head around .

Bud was one of the nicest students in my 8th grade science class at H>F> Junior high any teacher could ever have. When cooking at Ye Old Fort he usually delivered my old fort omelet directly from the grill to the counter. He will be surely missed by many. He always had a great friendly smile for all the customers and loved to play X-mas music from October through December in the kitchen while he cooked.

Bud was a once in a lifetime man. A rare genuine man. He always smiled and sent out positive vibes and cracked a lot of jokes. He would have given the shirt off his back for anyone he knew. Above all, he was the BEST husband and father. It’s hard to wrap your head and heart around it. Amber, you were certainly touched by an Angel. There are no words that can take away your anger and pain. You are all loved so much and we will be there for you. Night or day.
