Angenette “Annie” R. Knowlton

HUDSON FALLS – Angenette “Annie” R. Knowlton, 86, formerly of Pine Street, passed away, peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014, at the Stanton Health Care Facility in Queensbury.

Born on March 19, 1928, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe C. and May Knowlton.

Annie worked very hard for over 42 years at CR Bard in Queensbury, where she made many friends.

 Years ago she attended The Glens Falls United Methodist Church and the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church.

 Annie enjoyed watching game shows and playing bingo. She was a unique person who called it, like she saw it. Annie will be remembered as a kind and giving person. She loved taking her young nieces and nephews on shopping trips and going on short outings.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, an infant baby sister, Frances Hafner and Clarice Bennett; and her brother, George Knowlton.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Maille of Hudson Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Union Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.

The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Fort Edward Rescue Squad, Inc., PO Box 226, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

Arrangements are under the care of the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
