You’ve been one of my best friends for the last eight years and both Lyra and I already miss having you in our lives. I wish we could have made it to the Bronx Zoo together this summer and although I’m so glad your no longer in pain, the world is a much poorer place without you in it. All our love, always

I remember David always smiling and saying hello no matter where our paths crossed over the years. So very, very sorry to hear he is no longer with us. The world seems a little less bright without his presence.

My family and I sure will miss David. David was always friendly and kind to us, he truly took an interest in our lives. I enjoyed hearing his stories of his travels and will miss hearing about his enthusiasm for nature, that was one thing we had in common. I’ll definitely miss our long talks and his cheerful “good morning ” from his back deck. I’m relieved that David is no longer suffering but it’s still very sad to say goodbye. Rest in peace David, we will miss you❤️
