GLENS FALLS – Timothy James “Tim” Weils, 49, of Glens Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
Born in Saratoga Hospital, he was the son of Burton and Hope Weils of Queensbury. Timothy attended Hudson Falls School.
Tim was a free spirit, who was quick to laugh and crack a joke. He loved his family, especially his three daughters. Tim enjoyed reading mystery books, hunting, fishing with his family and friends and playing pool with his daughter.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Albert and Evelyn Weils and Charles and Doris Rustin.
Survivors besides his parents, Burton and Hope Weils, include his daughters, Ashley Weils of Hudson Falls, Paige Weils and Elena Weils, both of Glens Falls; his brothers, Burton Weils, Jr. of Louisiana, Todd Weils of Queensbury, Jeffrey Weils of Lake George and Kevin “Skip” Weils of Queensbury; he also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, following the calling hour, at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

I remember Tim in elementary school – always full of energy and a smile or a laugh. I appreciated his kindness. I was saddened to hear of his passing so tragically. My sincere sympathy to all of the Weils family.
