GLENS FALLS – Shirley Ann Younes, 76 of Glens Falls, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at The Pines Nursing Center in Glens Falls.
Born on July 7, 1940, in Fort Edward, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Josephine (White) Cassant.
Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her sons, Bernard and Leonard Younes.
Survivors include her three children, Carrie Snow, her husband Frank and Gregory Younes, both of North Carolina and Stephen Younes of Ballston Spa; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister Carol Daly of West Glens Falls; her brothers, John Cassant of Maryland and Kenneth Cassant and his wife, Diane of West Glens Falls; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many great nieces and great nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Graveside services will follow at Moss Street Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury
