Brian E. Plummer

HUDSON FALLS – Brian E. Plummer, 48, of Hudson Falls passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at his home in Hudson Falls.

He was born on September 15, 1970 in Glens Falls, the son of Albert T. Plummer and Linda M. Plummer. He is survived by his daughter, Mikayla L. Plummer; son, Bryan N. Plummer; brothers, Scott, Christopher, Patrick and his wife, Jesse, and Nicholas and his wife, Rachel. Along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brian was a graduate of Glens Falls High School, class of 1989. He was a very hard worker owning and operating his own plumbing, heating and air conditioning business for fifteen years. Brian enjoyed hunting, watching the Giants on football Sunday’s and spending time with his family during the holidays. But most importantly, he loved his children. He will be greatly missed.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., at 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in Brian’s memory made to the charity of one’s choice.

Larry Plummer

PlummerHUDSON FALLS – Larry “LP” Plummer, 76, of Maple Street, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.

Born on September 26, 1938 in Jonesport, Maine, he was the son of the late Clydie Samuelson.

After high school, Larry was very honored to have served his country in the United States Coast Guard.

 On April 5, 1969, Larry married Carol A. McFadden at the United Protestant Church in Fort Ann.  They were married 46 wonderful years.

For many years, he worked numerous millwright jobs, finally retiring from Finch Pruyn Inc. in Glens Falls.

Larry was a proud member of the Hudson Falls American Legion Post 574.    He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting.   Larry also enjoyed scratch offs and gambling at the Racino.   All animals were special to him, especially his cats and three dogs, Pup, Tony and Patches.   The most important part of his life was spending time with his grandchildren.   He adored them and cherished every moment they spent together.  

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Samuelson and his cousin, Carol Ann Paradise.

Survivors include his loving wife, Carol Plummer of Hudson Falls; his children, Tammie (Plummer) Colvin and her husband, Cory of Fort Edward and Brian Plummer of Hudson Falls; his special grandchildren, Sierra Beckwith, Cierra Colvin, Brianna Plummer and Cory Colvin, Jr; his beautiful great grandson, Kymani Beckwith; his brothers, Harland Samuelson and his companion, Rob Wheeler of  Bangor, ME and Clydie Samuelson, Jr. of  Columbia Falls, ME; his sister, Esther Savar and her husband, Michael of Windmoor, PA; and several nieces, nephews and a great nephew.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Services will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Babiuch, officiating.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to High Peaks Hospice, 79 Glenwood Ave., Queensbury, NY  12804, because of the wonderful care given by Stacie, Phil, Michelle and staff.
