Josephine E. Noble

NobleHUDSON FALLS – Josephine E. Noble, 90, formerly of Dubes Road and Moss Street Apartments, went into the arms of the Lord, surrounded by her loving family at the Glens Falls Hospital, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.

Born on July 25, 1924, in Warrensburg, she was the daughter of the late Ernest C. and Agnes (Lyng) Whipple.

On September 16, 1942, she married Floyd G. Noble, in Kingsbury.  He passed away on November 28, 1990, after 48 wonderful years of marriage.  When her husband was alive, they were always together.  He was the love of her life.  At night time they always made time for Bible reading and prayer.

Josephine was a member of the Kingsbury Wesleyan Church on Green Barn Road.  She was a very artistic lady, who made beautiful wedding cakes, crafted ceramics and enjoyed crocheting. Josephine was very creative, if it was a craft, she could make it.    Josephine also  raised and groomed her poodles, which she sold.

She  was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.   Josephine  loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and always wanted to be surrounded by them.    She was always there to help her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Jane Noble, her sisters, Ruth LaPoint and Reva Ball.

She is survived by her six children, Gerald Noble and his wife, Alice of Hudson Falls, Carol Wolfe and her husband, George of Schuylerville, Stan Noble and his wife, Jean of Hartford, Darlene Wilson and her husband, David of Fort Edward, Barbara Harbison and her husband, Ross of East Aurora and Richard Noble and his wife, Debbie of Argyle; 12 grandchildren, Rachel Cullen and her husband, Michael, Jeannette Jensen and her husband, Bob, Tammy Lawrence and her husband, Douglas, Terry Wolfe and his wife, Jennifer, Debbie Wolfe, Jessica Rickard, Heather Noble, Aaron Noble, Marsha Bates and her husband, Dan, Heath Wilson and his wife, Donna, Patsy Noel and her husband, Frank, Scott Pestinger and his wife, Alais, Matthew Noble and his wife, Shawna and Crystal Noble; many great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral services will follow at 5 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Reverend Loren Gage, pastor of the Kingsbury Wesleyan Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the spring at Moss Street Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Home of the Good Shepherd in Moreau for the exceptional loving care given to Josephine during her stay.
