HAGUE – Edward “Big Ed” Gazel, 62, of Hague, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the Glens Falls Hospital, after a long illness.
Born September 26, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward and Leora Gazel.
Ed was a 1970 graduate of SUNY Albany. In 1978, he graduated from New Brunswick Seminary and served in ministry for several years.
He loved fishing, camping, boating, classic cars, photography, music and entertaining.
Ed worked at TV-8 in Glens Falls as a cameraman and was also a DJ at WCKM. He enjoyed his DJ work and especially karaoke at several local businesses. His beautiful voice and wonderful sense of humor entertained people for many years.
