SOUTH GLENS FALLS – David J. Shear, 81, of South Glens Falls passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at The Stanton Health Care Facility.
Born January 14, 1935, in Schenectady, he was the son of the late James F. and Bessie (Herzog) Shear.
David was married to Rosemary (Lancaster) Shear until her passing on February 16, 1983.
Survivors include his son James, his sister Joyce and family, and his many friends.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. located at 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Funeral services will be private.
