    Dear Laura, Joe and girls,
Janet and Roger and the Rosses often fill us in with news about your family. Although we only shared a week in Jersey over fifteen years ago, and moments at various parties along the way, you have remained in our thoughts for all these years, mainly because of your vibrant, and uplifting demeanor, a legacy from your mom, I’m sure. Her body has died but her spirit lives in you and your children and the memories you’ll cherish forever. Know our prayers go with you and your brothers and sisters.

Sonja Crevison Harris was one of my best childhood friends, even though the only time we saw each other was when I visited my grandparents who lived across the street from the Harris family in Kingsbury. We have kept in touch all our lives, and thankfully we were able to get together again just a couple of years ago. She was a joyful soul. I loved to hear her laugh. I will miss her. My prayers are with all her children and grandchildren. BTW, did you know that her mom, Florence, could yodel? I loved that. One of my dearest memories.
