We are still shaking our head at the surrealism of your passing. I keep playing over in my head, when I was told….I lost count of all the what’s and NO’s I said…. nothing could have shocked us more….I am grateful that our house was the third place you went, the day you got out….at least I got to see you….and that hug you gave me? Phew! What strength there was! You said to me “thank you so much for helping Elaine and the girls….” You squeezed like a boa constrictor!! Lol….and now–POOF!! God chose you and home you went!!??!! Without rhyme or reason….I promise you that we will do the very best we can to honor that friendship our families share…. Your girls will grow up knowing and feeling your presence and your dreams for the future….and your beautiful wife will have help picking up the pieces of her awfully shattered heart……

    Until we meet again, Viejo….

I still can’t believe this. I was so looking forward to meeting Rob. I considered Rob like a brother from the closeness that Elaine and I share. Rob and I spoke a few times as he knew what I go through during this difficult times while our husbands are not here for us. I will be there for Elaine and the girls during this difficult time and there after. I felt like you guys were my long lost family. I was so happy when I knew that you were home with your family 2 years ago and two weeks ago. You have a beautiful wife, my good friend Elaine and 3 beautiful daughters, Rob. I will miss you.
