Robert A. “Bob” Rock, Sr.

RockQUEENSBURY – Robert A. “Bob” Rock, Sr., 63, of Sugarbush Road, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his home.

Born on July 25, 1949, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Dorothy (Johnson) Rock and the late Roger A. Rock.

Bob was formerly married to the mother of his children, Gail Brown.  Bob was a roller-skating fanatic, he lived on his skates.  He also enjoyed bowling with family and friends.  At the end of his life, Bob was a caregiver. He will be remembered for being a kind and caring man, with a big heart.  He will be missed by everyone that he touched.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert A. Rock, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Apex, NC; his daughter, Kristi Rock of Rotterdam; his mother, Dorothy Rock of Queensbury; his siblings, Roger T.
