Mary V. Marmion

MarmionDERBY, CT – Mary V. Marmion, 66, of Derby, CT, passed away unexpectedly with her loving family by her side a Griffin Hospital, April 7, 2015.

Born on April 4, 1949, in Westport, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Ella (Sherman) Burke.

Mary lived in Hudson Falls for several years, before moving to Derby, CT.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed her shopping, cooking, baking and watching her favorite movies.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Bolduc and her brothers and sister, Louis Burke, William Burke, Jimmy Burke and Betty Hill.

She is survived by her two daughters, Danielle Bolduc and her husband to be, Clyde Degray of Derby, CT and Nicole Bolduc and her companion, Matthew Aldous of Queensbury; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Cronin and her companion, Robert Porter, Robert Cronin, III of Queensbury and Ashley Ojeda of Derby, CT; her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Cronin and Lillyanna Porter of Queensbury; She is also survived by her companion, Peter Shalvoy of Derby, CT; her five brothers, Bruce Burke and his wife, Joyce of Fort Edward, Robert Burke and his wife, Marion of South Glens Falls, Herbert Burke and his wife, Ellen of Westport, Thomas Burke and his wife, Yvonne of Ticonderoga and Raymond Burke of Corinth; her sister in law, Marie Burke of Lewis; and also several nephews and nieces.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, from 10 to 11 am at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral services will follow on Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home, with the Reverend Thomas Babiuch, officiating.

Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
