Mark E. Roman

HUDSON FALLS – Mark E. Roman, 59, passed away on Friday October 14, 2016 at his home in Hudson Falls, NY.

 He was born on February 23, 1957, son of Halina Roman and the late Victor Roman.  He was a graduate of Cathedral Prep, Erie PA and SUNY Empire State College. 

Mark was an employee of Hammermill Paper Company in Erie and later International Paper in Ticonderoga, NY for 40 years. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by uncle Alexander Kalicki  and father and mother-in-law Fred and Harriet Verbeke. 

He is survived by his wife of 35 years June Roman; sons Gregory Roman and his wife Amy of Rochester, NY and Eric Roman of Hudson Falls, NY; daughters Gillian Roman of Rochester, NY, and Stephanie Roman-Gleason of Sedalia, MO; brother Paul Roman of Erie, PA; aunt Barbara Kalicki of Winter Springs, FL; sisters-in-law Gail Sollman and her husband Richard and Beverly Verbeke of Erie, PA; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held in Erie PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fort Edward Rescue Squad, Inc., P.O. Box 226, Fort Edward, NY 12828 or the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation, 100 Park St., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
