I offer you my condolences very late, as I discover this obituary. I am sorry for your loss.

Please forgive my language mistakes (French-speaking).

I have been interested in my family history for a long time.

According to my research, Louise was born in her parents’ house at this address in Douai: “Rue des Pestiférés N° 8”, literally “path of the plague victims” (adress also called “8 rue Paul Théry”). This house was located in the current “rue d’Auby”, she spent a long part of her youth there. Unfortunately, the house was demolished around 1942/1943.

I am related to her older brother, Paul (born in 1896), who had a daughter Simone DELECROIX (born in 1914, my great-grandmother) whose family lived in Douai until 1935.

If you would like to share about family history, I would be glad.
