GLENS FALLS—Lois J. Aurelia, 93, of Fourth Street, Glens Falls passed away Monday, October 21 in her sleep at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Argyle, NY. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Lois was born on November 30, 1919, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Westfall.
She was married for sixty eight years to the late Edward S. Aurelia of Glens Falls.
Two sisters, Irma Clark and Shirley Granger, and four brothers, Rowland, Charles, Robert and Gordon Westfall all died before her.
She is survived by her sister, Hazel Valetta of Mechanicsville, NY. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary Juckett of West Springfield, Virginia and Penelope Gardner of Glens Falls, three grand daughters Sarah Crigler of Arlington, Virginia, Karen Juckett of Arlington, Virginia, and Deana Gardner of Hudson Falls, two grandsons, Jeremy Gardner of Lake Luzerne and Zachary Gardner of Seattle, Washington, one great grandson, Ashton Gardner of Lake Luzerne and one great granddaughter, Leona Mae Gallucci of Hudson Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 25 at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. 68 Main Street, HudsonFalls.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26 at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. 68 Main Street, HudsonFalls.
The Rite of Committal will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in the Town of Fort Edward.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 71 Glenwood Avenue, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
