Keith Kenneth Knowlton

KnowltonARGYLE –  Keith Kenneth Knowlton, 60, of Washington Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, went into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on October 3, 1955, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Madora Knowlton and the late Kenneth Knowlton.

Keith was a graduate of Glens Falls High School and soon after enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He was very proud to have the honor of serving his country.  Following his military service, Keith began his career as a chef.  Over his career, he worked for several area establishments.

Keith was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Queensbury.

He loved to play chess and could beat just about anyone who challenged him.  Keith was very artistic.  He left behind a legacy of many beautiful pictures and drawings.  Keith was also an animal lover and always enjoyed a good meal.

He is survived by his wife, Teena Knowlton of Hudson Falls; his mother, Madora Knowlton of Corinth; his siblings, Debbie Knowlton Byrd of Corinth, Jacqueline Pelkey of Hudson Falls and Joseph Knowlton and his wife, Michelle of Corinth; his nieces, Michelle Rosinski, Melinda Pelkey and Jennifer Jester; his nephews, Jeremy Knowlton, Casey Knowlton, Chad Knowlton and Daniel Byrd; and several cousins.

Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. on Thursday, at the Funeral Home, with Bishop Ronald Licido, of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, officiating.

Burial will be in the spring at Southside Cemetery.
