Kathy Lynn Elrick

Elrick, KathySOUTH GLENS FALLS – Kathy Lynn Elrick, 53, of South Glens Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, surrounded by family and friends, at the Glens Falls Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on March 27, 1964, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Richard and Sharon (Hall) Bapp of Queensbury.

On October 14, 2016, she married R.J. Elrick in Queensbury.

She was a member of the Local 157, employed by Performance Contracting, Inc. at Global Foundries.

Kathy enjoyed tailgating, painting, gardening, entertaining and most of all, spending time with her grandkids and being with family.

She is survived by her husband, R.J. Elrick of South Glens Falls; her parents, Richard and Sharon Bapp of Queensbury; her three children, Kristyn Corey and her Husband, Jordan of South Glens Falls, Sebastian Luciano, Jr., of South Glens Falls and Elizabeth Luciano of South Glens Falls; her four step children, Greg Elrick of South Glens Falls, Carissa Elrick of Rutland, VT, Rebecca Elrick of Rutland VT and Megan Elrick of Rutland, VT; her two grandchildren, Blake Corey of South Glens Falls and Silas Corey of South Glens Falls; her two sisters, Maire Burns and her significant other, Mark Jankowski of West Rutland, VT, Susan Wancewicz and her husband, Phillip of Cedar Park, Texas; her brother, James Bapp of Queensbury; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Funeral Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Tony Childs, Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Church, officiating.

Memorial donations may be sent to the South High Marathon Dance, 42 Merritt Road South Glens Falls, NY 12803.
