HUDSON FALLS – Kathleen Ann Smith, 70, of Ferry Street, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Fort Hudson Health Care Facility.
Born on August 4, 1946, in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marguerite (Hall) Clark.
On January 10, 1970, she married Leonard W. Smith in Salem. They shared 47 wonderful years together.
Kathleen was a member of the Greater Glens Falls Bible Baptist Church in Hudson Falls, where she served as the office manager and a teacher for the church and Academy. She enjoyed her M.O.E Girls Club and various other responsibilities she had at church.
Kathleen enjoyed being in her flower garden and creating and sealing her pressed flowers and playing the piano at home and at church. She liked being out in nature and taking long walks, camping and scrapbooking. Most of all, her family and church family were very important to her.
She is survived by her Husband, Leonard W. Smith; her daughter, Cindy M. Smith; her son, Jason L. Smith and his wife, Ricci A. (Hayes) Smith; her grandsons, Ryan Smith and Connor Smith; her brother, John J. Clark and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 10:30 to 11 am. at the Greater Glens Falls Bible Baptist Church on 1 1/2 West St., Hudson Falls
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Monday, at the church, with Pastor Guy G. Goodell, officiating.
