James B. “JB” “Jake” Yole, Jr.

yolejbHUDSON FALLS – James B. “JB” “Jake” Yole, Jr., 54, of Hudson Falls passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 11, 1960, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late James B. and Agnes (Chapin) Yole, Sr.

JB served almost 32 years as a New York State Corrections Officer at Great Meadow Prison in Comstock.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR, being on the internet, listening to Rock N’ Roll and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.  JB loved life, his work and his family and friends.  He would say today, “Keep the faith chirp, chirp!”

Survivors include his wife, Leigh Belair-Yole of Hudson Falls; his three children, Haleigh Yole of Hudson Falls, Danelle Murphy of Hudson Falls, Briehana Murphy of Hudson Falls; his buddy, Phil Gagnon of Hudson Falls; his dog , Maggie; his cat, Joe; his parrot, Tobie; and his “adopted daughter”, Kate Bombard of Glens Falls.

At JB’s family request, there are no services scheduled.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 959 State Rte 9, Mount Royal Plaza, Queensbury, NY 12804.

JB’s family wishes to thank Dr. Eric Pillemer, his nurses and the people of High Peaks Hospice, for their loving care during his illness.

    I can not believe your gone since i have found out i just have been feeling so sad. I can honestly say i am a better person because of knowing you.     I’m sorry to hear about your Loss. keep in mind to be absent here is to be present with the Lord. I pray that God gives you rest in your this time of grieving and consoles you with the Love of your family and friends.
