Henry A. Coulombe

Coulombe, HenryHUDSON FALLS – Henry A. Coulombe, 71, of Hudson Falls, passed away on April 4, 2017, at Albany Medical Hospital.

Born on February 7, 1946, in Burlington, VT, he was the son of George and Pauline Coulombe Bombard.

Henry proudly served in the U.S. Army Engineers, in the Vietnam War.

In 1989, Henry was united in marriage to Priscilla Knobel, in Hudson Falls.

He retired from Hill and Markes in Amsterdam.

Henry was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, restoring muscle cars, and was a past member of “Memories on Wheels” Car Club.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Priscilla Coulombe of Hudson Falls; his children, Kristina Burger and her husband, Mike of Adams, Christopher Irish of Round Lake, Janet Abbott and her husband Joe of Belleville, and Thomas Irish and his wife, Katie of Schuylerville; his grandchildren and great grandchild; his siblings, Donald “Butch” Coulombe and his wife, Reta of California, Armond Dion and his wife, Pam of North Carolina, John Dion of Amsterdam, Paul Dion and is wife, Vickie of Amsterdam, Cathy Nowlcki and her husband, Chuck of Amsterdam, and Pauline Slot and her husband John of Rensselaerville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church at 30 La Cross St in Hudson Falls.

A funeral service will take place immediately following calling hours at 12 p.m. at church, with the Reverend Paul Mead officiating.

A burial, with military honors, will take place on Friday, at 2 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Duell Rd in the town of Stillwater.

    I’ll never forget my last meeting with Hank his wife told me to call him satchell ass, which of course I did then I took his blood pressure At VA God Bless You

    We were saddened to read of Hanks passing. He was one of our favorite salesmen, and became a good buddy as well. We were fellow car people. We have missed Hank since he retired from Hill & Markes. Just a real nice guy. Our condolences to all the family.
