GLENS FALLS – Frank W. Shaw, Jr., 56, died suddenly of cardiac arrest, at his home on Friday, February 5, 2016.
Born March 22, 1959 in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late Florence and Frank Shaw, Sr.
Frank resided in Poughkeepsie for the first part of his adult life and finally settled in Glens Falls. Since his youth, Frank fought daily to control his multiple physical problems, in spite of his difficulties, one of Frank’s strong points was his attempt to always try to help others. He enjoyed the position of authority, and usually managed it well. He will be missed.
Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his sister, Ilene.
Survivors include his two brothers, George and Alfred and his sister, Evelyn.
Burial will take place in the spring at a date to be announced, at Brant Lake Cemetery in Brant Lake.
We met Frank in 1994. He was family to us we miss him very much.it will not be the same without him. We hope he found peace at the end of his rainbow.
