GRANVILLE – Florence F. Weber, 82, of Holbrook Adult Home, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2015 at the Glens Falls Hospital, after a long illness.
Born on February 25, 1932 in Fort Edward, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Delia Catalfamo.
Although she was born in Fort Edward, Florence lived the majority of her life in California with her husband, Robert Weber. He passed away in July of 2012, after many wonderful years of marriage.
Florence enjoyed spending time walking with her friends every morning. She loved listening to music and delighted in nature. Florence watched the birds flock to her window and created all sorts of beautiful crafts.
After the loss of her husband, she moved back to Hudson Falls to be with her nephew and his wife, Lawrence and Ilene Moak. They cared for her until she moved to the caring community of Holbrook Adult Home in Granville. Florence loved living there, where she was loved and treated like family.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Frances Bonnoyer, James Catalfamo, Anthony Catalfamo, Mary Schenk, Louis Catalfamo, Phyllis Moak, Candaloro Catalfamo and Carmella Catalfamo.
Survivors include her brother, John Catalfamo of Hudson Falls; her nephew, Lawrence Moak and his wife, Ilene, also of Hudson Falls; and many special nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11 to 1 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Funeral Services will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church of Hudson Falls, officiating.
Burial will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.
