    To Joy and family,

Words cannot express the sorrow over Eli’s accident and passing. Eli was loved and appreciated more than you can possibly imagine. His selflessness and willingness to help others, his sense of humor, and his fearlessness in expressing his opinion and standing up for what he believed in are just a few of his qualities that generations could learn a lesson from.

I am proud to have known Eli, and even more proud to have been considered a friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, that you may take comfort in my sincerest belief that Eli is soaring with the Angels, and watching over everyone he loved.
