Sorry for your loss Dorothy & family. Today is December 14th, 2015. (10 days before Christmas Eve Day). Gee Edward M. Burch / Eddie Burch it’s been a month since you have been gone, but it seems as though it was just yesterday. The pain just hasn’t gone away. Bill & I have been talking and really can’t figure out who is the best Santa this year. I have been able to pick at each one, they don’t go through what you do to fulfill the dreams of all the children that saw you each and every year… You were a child yourself growing up. A Marine where Bill was stationed in VA Beach with you. A Father to Tim & Brandi. A Friend to so may, A Husband, but most of all “Fast Eddie”, a fun, loving and caring person that would give the shirt off his back. Christmas was a very special time in our home when you lived with us and we remember, you wanting for the first time, parts for your motorcycle and Santa was (as I still believed) made sure that they we had the parts under the tree. Boy you were shocked. Eddie was also Elvis and a damn good one too. Eddie thanks for all the help you gave us back when Bill ( Maxton Nixon) went through his bi-pass in 1996. Your Birthday’s and early days that were spent with your kids, Tim Burch and Brandi Williams. They sure have grown into wonderful adults. Brandi’s daughters are beautiful. Your Sister Kristine Vedd and Bill remember each other from VA Beach and the Blue grass Festival that you all would go to each year. We has Good times, ups and down times. But no matter what, we were just a phone call, email, Facebook or text message away. Night for now. Never goodbye. Love you Gunnery Sgt Edward M. Burch. (Eddie)
