My dear niece Diane, I loved you from the moment my sister brought you home from the hospital. Being 11 years apart, you were more like a sister to me than a niece. I enjoyed watching you grow into such a wonderful adult. We shared our love of nature. Heaven will be a better place with you there. Love Auntie Linda or Auntie Dindee as you used to call me.

To Diane’s family. I’m so sorry for your lost. I worked as a substitute at the Hudson Falls Central Schools. I met Diane by working there.
I enjoyed her humor and her kindness. She will be missed.

    Dear Smythe Family,
My son Samuel and I are so very sorry for your loss. Diane was Sam’s favorite Taekwondo instructor and he is already missing her presence greatly. Diane and I shared a love for dogs, horses, nature, and hockey, and she was always ready with a quick smile and to ask questions about how our animals were faring. My heart hurts with you, and my prayers for comfort surround you.
    Jamie Grubb and Samuel.

Thank you for your kind words. I will miss my sister greatly, but it is comforting to know how many people’s lives she touched
