Carolea L. (Wells) Coltrain

Coltrain, CaroleaHUDSON FALLS – Carolea L. (Wells) Coltrain, 40, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Born on March 12, 1977 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of David and Linda (Adams) Crandall.

Carolea was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School.

She was an aide at Hudson Falls Margaret Murphy School and also worked at the Gap Outlet.  Carolea loved fashion and collecting shoes.

She had a huge heart and always saw the good in everyone, no matter who you were.  Carolea gave her all in every job she took on and was an asset at each place of employment.  She was a wonderful mom and a fantastic woman who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Carolea was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Ilene and Charles Adams and Dorothy Crandall.

Survivors include her children, Ashley Elizabeth Coltrain, Daniel R. “Remi” Coltrain, and Wyatt Tardiff, all of Hudson Falls; her parents, David and Linda Crandall of Stony Creek; her sister, Ondrea Crandall of Northville; her half sisters, Kelly O’Rouke and her husband, Scott of Burnt Hill and Leila Pouliot of New Hampshire; her significant other, William “Bill” Tardif of Hudson Falls; her niece, Cadence Crandall; and close friends, whom she thought of as her sisters, Nikki Shaw and Kimberly Kibling.

Friends may call on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in honor of Austin Naylor and his mom Crystal Irwin-Naylor, 1 Marcus Blvd, Albany, NY 12205.
