Arlene remains part of my childhood memories. She always knew what would make me happy….. If I hung around long enough, she’d always ask me if I wanted to stay for supper, which is what I really wanted. If I timed it right, I’d leave my house for the short walk to school just as she was driving by with Guppy and “Sis”… she’d always stop and pick me up. She made her home a place where u wanted

Arlene remains such a vivid part of my childhood memories. She always knew what would make me happy….. If I hung around long enough, she’d always ask me if I wanted to stay for supper, which is what I really wanted. If I timed it right, I’d leave my house for the short walk to school in the morning just as she was driving by with Guppy and “Sis”… she’d always stop and pick me up. She made her home a safe and comfortable place where I always wanted to be. She was the kind of mother kids dream of having…..no matter what happened…..even when Alicia fell in the well in the woods in our backyard….yes, that really happened, she never lost her cool. I’ve always loved her in my dreams and childhood memories and wish I got to tell her so. Thank you for sharing her with me for a short time a long time ago Guppy and Alicia…it meant the world to me. I’m so saddened to hear of her death.

    Dear Family,
I am deeply saddened for your loss. I don’t get the paper and this greeted me on FB this morning. Loved your Mom! She was a dear, sweet, funny lady. I will never forget her, and the love she had not only for her famiy, but her friends as well. She had a way of making everyone feel special. I’m sorry I can’t make it to the funeral home, as I’m down with a really bad cold, and none of you need this. My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with all of you at this really sad time. She certainly was a love! With love and deepest sympathy to all of you, Toni
