Antoinette “Ann” Caivano Roberts

RobertsSOUTH GLENS FALLS – Antoinette “Ann” Caivano Roberts, of South Glens Falls, went into the loving arms of our Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born February 20, 1929, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (DeMonico) Caivano.

Ann was married to the late Jerome Roberts, who died on July 25, 1992.

Ann  was employed at the Troy Shirt Factory until settling down to married life, first in Saratoga, then moving to South Glens Falls.  She was a devoted Christian and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church of Hudson Falls and St. Michael’s Church of South Glens Falls.

Ann enjoyed golfing and bowling both on leagues and with friends.  Ann spent many hours crocheting and making ceramics.  Her house decorated with projects from both passions.  Neighbors and strangers alike would pass by to see the Nativity set she made in ceramics and won an award for.  Also enjoyed by neighbors, were Ann’s gardens in which she produced beautiful flowers and filling her house with plants.
