QUEENSBURY – Angela Warner, 91, of Fourth St. Extension, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at her home.

 Born on May 8, 1922 in Jessup, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rosalie (Orfano) Guida.

 In 1941, she married Harold E. Warner in Fayetteville, NC, while he was serving his country.  They were married 53 wonderful years, before Harold passed away on October 12, 1994.

 Mrs. Warner at one time worked for C.H.  Stewert in Newark, NY and assisted at the church nursery school when she and her family resided there.  Her faith was very important to her.   She attended the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Hudson Falls and enjoyed gardening, cooking and crocheting. Mrs. Warner and her husband, enjoyed caring for many foster children.  She spoke fondly of them throughout her life.

 In addition to her husband, Harold E. Warner, Sr., she was predeceased by her son, James D. Warner, her three brothers, Angelo Guida, Thomas Guida  and Peter Guida and her four sisters, Anna Angel, Esther Valasquez, Josephine Paulucci and Arlene Phillips.

Survivors include her son, Harold E. Warner, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Rhode Island; her seven grandchildren, David Warner and his wife, Danielle of Glens Falls, Andrew Warner and his companion, Julia Bracken of Queensbury, Harold E. Warner, III of Arizona, Jennifer Warner of Warren, RI, Eric Warner of Warren, RI, Neil Warner of MA and Nathaniel Warner of MA; and six great-grandchildren, Alexzander Warner, Harold Warner IV, Kayle Fernandes, Nicole Carter, Jami Warner and Jessi Warner; and two great-great grandchildren; her sisters, Viola Cennatt  and Rose Buonanno, both of Canandaigua; her special nephew, Joe Valasquez; her special niece Susan Reader; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013, in Glens Falls Cemetery on Bay Street in Glens Falls.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Hoy and his office staff, in particular, Eileen Spinelli, The Wound Care Center staff and all the aides who helped at home, for the wonderful care and compassion given to Angela and her family.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Gospel Lighthouse Church, LaCrosse St., Hudson Falls, NY 12839.

Arrangements are under the care of the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
